If you think you are flaky about being on time then keep a friend with you who will ensure that you get to the venue earlier than the event so you are well prepared. If you do not arrive on time or hours before, you will be very unprepared for what you will be faced with during the race.
Overshooting or Not Estimating Correctly
Make sure to be very precise when you are estimating something. Of course, there will be times when you will either underestimate or overestimate yourself. In a situation concerning rally racing it, either of those things can be bad or potentially dangerous, so practice a lot before you sign up on a whim.
