A person who tries to live a sustainable lifestyle should mostly eat the foods at the bottom of the triangle. These are the fruits and vegetable. A vegetarian lifestyle is what you should be going for as it does not require anything that cannot be quickly replaced. Furthermore, you should be careful about where your food originates from. Most larger-scale farms use pesticides and chemicals which end up harming all the plans and animals which come in contact with it. Also if the farm is far from where you live, chances are that it was transported there over a long distance. The best way to go about this is to either grow your own food or go for locally sourced fruits and vegetable which does not have to be transported over large distances and is organically grown so you cause as little impact on the environment as possible when you consume your food. It may seem like a lot of work but once you incorporate it in your life, it becomes a habit.
